Testimonials & Memories
🌼On behalf of our family, the Halliday's, the Stevensons and Fiona's extended family, we wish to express our sincere gratitude to you for the beautiful reading you did for us today at Portchester Crematorium. The inflection and intonation of the service you kindly produced was precisely what we had hoped for. I believe Fiona couldn't have wished for a better tribute.
Thank you once again for your input and helpful suggestions, it was greatly appreciated at what was and still is a difficult and emotional time for us.

🌺 From Mr Pat Jennings ... the Brother-in-Law of Mr Derek Baker, now reunited with his Wife Beryl
Good morning Deborah
I am writing to thank you for the service yesterday for Derek. All of the his family and friends were most appreciative of the way you conducted matters at this difficult time. You helped in no small way to add colour and brighten our day. Again many thanks. Trafalgar Place has taken on a new dimension.
🌺 From Amy Stone ... in loving memory of her dear Wife Shelley
I cannot thank you enough for your help, support and lead on the day of Shelley's service, it was very special and perfect for her, and those are not just my words, but the comments from everyone I spoke to and have spoken to about it.
It was funny on the ride with Shell to the crem that day as I remember your words to me beforehand about watching for the signs on the way. We rode a route Shell and I took often on her motorbike over Portsdown Hill on the way and I smiled to myself when it was foggy so I couldn't see the view we love so much so I turned to Shell and said 'It's ok because I only wanted to look at you anyway'. And then it was a little bit clearer as I looked up and out for Portchester Castle, as the view from the roof there is my favourite, and I could see it so I thanked her for letting me see that before looking back at her.
Warmest regards,
Amy
🌺Deborah, it was an amazing day! We wept and laughed. The twins entertained people (hearing 'roar' and 'quack quack' during the service lifted my heart! Malc would have been so happy to hear them! They adored him and he adored them!
Thank you so much for a beautiful service. Everyone loved it!
The sun certainly did shine on Hayling, yesterday!

Good evening Deborah,
Thank you so much for everything that you did for us in saying good bye to Mum. You met her, and I sense you know she would have approved and been delighted by the way in which you reflected her time on this planet. She was a wonderful person, and you captured her spirit, energy and personality perfectly. My entire family were moved by the way in which you captured this - thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Dear Deborah, I just wanted to thank you on behalf of the family for the way you conducted dads funeral on Monday. You did a great job and my father could not have had a better send off. I would also like to thank you for spending time with the family prior to the funeral to get to know the kind of father/man, dad was, I know coming out in the evening isn’t always easy when you’re working yourself and have a number of dogs to care for. However, we really appreciate you giving your time so freely. Thank you also for the wonderful visual tribute which would have taken us hours, as we had no idea where to start. Everyone commented on what a lovely reflection of dads life it was and that was down to you putting the slides together for us.
So many thank yous! We really can’t thank you enough for helping to organise dads final send off, and making us think about things we hadn’t really thought of. He certainly went out in style. I hope we don’t need to use your service again in a hurry, but if we do I would be more than happy to come back to you. Kind regards, Tracey

Sue and I would like to thank you on behalf of all the family for the wonderful tribute you gave at Mums funeral, it was fantastic and delivered with a lot of passion and respect. Everyone remarked on the service and all said how lovely it was. We had a good wake celebration and I was the worse for wear, but it was a good send off and everyone enjoyed it. Thank you again and kindest regards.

On behalf of Jack and myself I just wanted to say thank you very much for your handling of Mum's service at Wessex Vale last Thursday. Everything went according to plan and feedback from everyone has been that it was a very special occasion. I just wanted to thank you on behalf of the family for yesterday. You helped us to acknowledge that grief is part of the life cycle. I left mum there knowing that her work was done in this world. The family were very comforted by your compassion and delivery of the service. It's exactly what mum would have wanted.
